Final exam requests are due by Sunday, Nov. 15 for students.

Faculty: Please plan on having your final exam dates in available to students as soon as possible and inform your students when the finals date is available to request. Please note: space is extremely limited during finals and is likely to reach capacity before the deadline. Please make alternative plans for your students with 1.5x extended time and Distraction Reduced Environment accommodations.

Students: Confirm with your instructors if the Student Testing Center is needed. by Sunday, Nov. 15.

AIM Overview: Faculty

AIM is a tool that enables the Disability Services office to manage accommodation requests and implementation. The tool features both student and faculty portals.

Step 3: Once you sign in, ensure that you are in a private location select “Continue to View Student Accommodations”

Step 4: Select “View” under “Students Who Requested Accommodations”. Additionally, you may select “PDF” to download a PDF copy of the letter.

You may use the “Refine Search or List Saved Queries” function to easily filter by course, student, and accommodation.

Step 4: Select the “Export Data: Students” drop-down menu

Step 5: Select “Export Accommodation Requests” to export a list of all requested accommodations by student and course

View and Complete Flex Plan Requests

Step 1: Access AIM Portal

Step 2: Select “Faculty” under “What type of user are you?”

Step 3: Once you sign in, ensure that you are in a private location select “Continue to View Student Accommodations”

Step 4: Select “Flex Plan”

Step 5: Select “View” to initiate the Flex Plan review. Note: Flex Plans are organized by course, not by specific student request

Step 6: Complete the List of Questions tile

Step 7: Once completed, select “Initiate and Request Review”. Note: If you instruct multiple sections of the same course, select “Apply to all classes with the same course subject and course number in the same term” to automatically complete the Flex Plan Request Form those courses.

Step 8: The Disability Services team will review your response and notify you via email once your Flex Plan has been approved. You may view approved Flex Plans by selecting “View”

Step 3: In the Proctoring Agreement section, click on "Courses without Proctoring Agreement."

Step 4: Click “Specify” next to the course in which you would like students to use the Student Testing Center for exams or quizzes.

Step 5: Complete all required questions, including the exam instructions and exam date(s) for your course. You can add additional exam dates now or return to the Proctoring Agreement later to add them.

Step 6: Students can now schedule their exams directly through their AIM portal. Please remind students to schedule each exam. You can update the list of students included in the Proctoring Agreement at any time.
