Accessible Information Management (AIM)
How Do I Get Started?
AIM will automatically generate accommodation letters for students once they have been approved through Disability Services. Faculty will receive an email notification via their Â鶹´«Ã½ email account for each accommodation letter that is generated for their course(s).ÌýÌý
Faculty can also sign into AIM using their Â鶹´«Ã½ IdentiKey and password. Once signed in, they will be able to review all student accommodations for each of their courses.Ìý
We encourage students and faculty to review accommodation letters together to determine how to effectively implement accommodations for each class.ÌýÌý
Faculty Expectations
Like previous semesters, students are expected to schedule a meeting with faculty to discuss their accommodations. During this meeting, they will establish a plan for how accommodations will be implemented. Make sure the agreement is clear to both of you. Faculty are expected to clarify and/or confirm testing accommodations with students prior to each exam at least (1) week in advance.Ìý
Training Opportunities
If you would like a personalized presentation for your department, please complete the presentation request form. Otherwise, you can attend one of our many workshops over the semester on how to best utilize AIM.Ìý
