Faculty: Please plan on having your final exam dates in available to students as soon as possible and inform your students when the finals date is available to request. Please note: space is extremely limited during finals and is likely to reach capacity before the deadline. Please make alternative plans for your students with 1.5x extended time and Distraction Reduced Environment accommodations.

- Student Testing Center Coordinator
Anya joined Disability Services as a Testing Center coordinator in June 2025. She received her B.A. in English at the University of Illinois and went on to complete her master’s degree in Secondary English Education at the University of Virginia. She spent many years as an educator in schools around the country, teaching students from diverse backgrounds and working with her colleagues to build curricula and programs that promote student success. She also spent several years as an editor, working closely with high school, college and transfer students.
Her professional areas of interest include educational policy and practice, community building, mental health, accessibility and leadership.
Outside the office, Anya enjoys reading, hiking (as long as the big or slithery animals stay at a safe distance), traveling with her family and attending her kids’ numerous sporting events and school activities.
